Nutiva’s purpose is to produce the highest quality organic superfoods, providing superior nutritional value to our customers while supporting sustainable agricultural practices and a fair return to the farmers on whom we depend. We donate 1 percent of our sales to groups that promote sustainable agriculture.
Nutiva is concerned about the impact genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are having on our natural world and human health. Since our inception in 1999, Nutiva has had a non-GMO policy, and we only source non-GMO ingredients.
Nutiva uses the finest certified-organic ingredients, grown without pesticides and herbicides—safer for you and the planet. Our products are certified by Quality Assurance International (QAI). Nutiva obtained the right to use the new USDA Organic Symbol when it became effective in October 2002.
